Unlike many programs, there's no demand for English language tests like IELTS. The primary criterion is maintaining your status as a university student upon program commencement.

Financial Assistance Details
Participants from outside Germany receive a subsistence allowance of 1,900€ gross, while students from Berlin and Potsdam universities are granted 1,000€ gross.
Travel expense subsidies cover 75% of the costs, up to 200€ for EU countries and 800€ for non-EU nations, aiding travel between Berlin and your place of residence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all students globally.
- Applicants must be undergraduates (not PhD candidates) pursuing Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Structural Biology, Mathematics, Engineering, Life or Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
- A minimum of two years of full-time study in the major discipline at the university level is required.
- Enrollment as a student at your university during the program duration is mandatory (July 1st to August 23rd, 2024).
- Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of German is advantageous.
- A letter of reference must accompany your application.
Program Terms
- Full participation for the entire program duration is mandatory.
- Expect a workload of 40 hours per week under an 8-week internship contract dedicated to your project.
