The ISTernship, a portmanteau of “IST” and “internship”, offers summer intern positions for current bachelor's and master's students passionate about biology, computer science, data science and scientific computing, mathematics, physics, neuroscience, chemistry and materials science, or interdisciplinary fields.
Recent graduates who obtained their bachelor or master's degree within one year of the program's commencement are also eligible to apply. The ISTernship Summer 2024 program runs from May 15 to September 15, spanning approximately 2-3 months.
Exact dates and length are customized per intern and their assigned supervisor. Placements will take place at the prestigious Institute of Science and Technology Austria. Additional details are provided below.
